General Info
Our Techniques:

In this Manual Therapy treatment our skilled therapists will utilize a broad set of modalities, such as Trigger Point Therapy, Hot Stone Therapy, Cupping Therapy, stretching and Lymphatic drainage techniques to aid in muscle health recovery. The goal is to move inflammation out of an inflamed muscle/joint area and/or release deep trigger points in a focused muscular area to allow this Therapy to meet patients individual treatment needs. The combination of muscular therapy work alongside our Chiropractic adjustments creates a balance in the Musculoskeletal system (muscle and joint system) that cannot be reached with either treatment modality alone.

Dr. Alice has specialties in working with Prenatal musculoskeletal imbalances and our certified therapists are all trained in prenatal Manual Therapy techniques. This Manual Therapy treatment is recommended to patients experiencing pelvic pain and back pain during the increasing demands of pregnancy.

Myofacial Release requires a highly skilled practitioner with many hours of additional training. It is a hands-on Manual Therapy technique that involves applying gentle, sustained pressure into Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and dysfunction. Restrictions in fascia are often the result of injury, trauma, inflammatory responses, surgery or chronic conditions. Fascial restrictions can lead to numerous dysfunctions in the body.
Benefits of Myofascial Release are increased blood circulation, decreased pain, realignment of muscle fibers, breaking up of scar tissue, restoration of muscle elasticity, speeding up of the healing time post injury, and an increase in range of motion.
Our licensed team of Massage Therapists are here to offer their unique techniques and different therapy styles to help make you feel relaxed and relieve stress or tension you may hold throughout your body. Massages can be a key component to achieving a more beneficial lifestyle for your health. Therapeutic massages included into your weekly or monthly routine can leave you looking, feeling, and performing better in your everyday life. Massage therapy has various wellness benefits such as releasing anxiety, muscle tension, reducing pain, increasing energy levels, improving overall physical performance, and mental performance. Dr. Alice will consult with the therapist to give them a treatment protocol for each patient based on their individual needs. The therapist will also report back to Dr. Alice with their additional findings so that we are all working towards the same goal with each patient.
